After what seems to be a long time testing the code, I'm getting no where using the MLX90614 from Sparkfun.
Again have not changed anything with Tom's orginal code.
Getting desperate !
Phil

Problem
I simply copied your demo code and mcp23008 module into two seperate files, with no code changes.
When I try to compile, it stops at line 220 of the module, the error msg reads
mcp23008.bas(220):Symbol not expected.
Any ideas ?
I'm using SF v 2.2.0.4 - ICC1.1.5.5

Help with your MLX90614 module
Hi I've been trying to get some response from your module - no joy. The pic (18F2620 @20M) seems to lock-up. If I disable the I2C call, and just send out the USart.writes all is ok - obviously no values though. I have the device connected as follows Pin1 SCL to Pic C.3 Pin2 SDA to Pic C.4 Pin3 Vdd P...
Using Isis with Swordfish
I use it a lot, no problems - great combination.
Note I'm still using XP though

1-wire eeprom module - anyone
Despite several attempts at modifying the DS18B20 module to that of a ds2431 - I'm getting nowhere - has anybody done this successfully, I,ve had a hunt around the forum - the module does appear, any chance of a peak ? (New to SwordFish)
