Great that worked.
and even managed to get the internal ref to work.
BTW the noise on the ADC seems low at 1or2 counts and no big offset like the k80 pics
This is starting to look like a very flexible small part.
Thanks again Jerry

Re: Any thoughts on q41 parts?
Argh!!! so after unplugging the programmer the led flashing started again. it seems that after upgrading the ipe to allow for programming 18f06q41's the programmer forgot i wanted to leave the pic out of reset, even after it supposedly had used "previous setting" from a previous installation. Thanks...

Re: Any thoughts on q41 parts?
Thanks Jerry for those links. We have bought 100 of the PIC18F06Q41 and I've designed a very simple board for purely for testing I'm interested in how good the adc is and how well the opamp works as I've not really tried using opamps on pics before.

Re: Any thoughts on q41 parts?
The chip shortage is kind of why i'm looking at these new parts, they cover most bases 12bit, 5v 64mhz and pps, except usb, and we are moving away from pic based usb anyway.
my plan was to buy some and test them and then buy a batch for stock if all looks good.
Thanks again.

Re: Any thoughts on q41 parts?
Thanks for that Jerry. I have now ordered one and will design a test board to check out some of the features and report back.
on another Note was the Q43 sram errata fixed ? and if so, is it easy to get the new silicon?

JLC PCB
I just wanted to give some feedback about JLC PCB, I'm sure you've seen it if you make anything with pic but they are fantastic we have been using them for a few years now and never had any problems. we startred off using them for developement but they were always good and now use them in production...

Any thoughts on q41 parts?
Hi I was wondering what peoples experiances were with the q41 parts. for me the PIC18F06Q41 looks very interesting for home projects, but more generally how have they worked for you? as i've had bad experiances with things like the adc in the k80 part. so... whats the adc like ? does it have any off...

Re: recent compiler problems
it is odd, thanks for checking Jerry.
I'll see if there's anything that I've missed.

Re: recent compiler problems
that fixes it.
Thanks Jerry.
I did check one of the other pcb's with the preaviously used 14k50 and the baud rate was correct at 9600 . so i'm pretty sure something changed.
I must admit I don't normally use that low a baud rate but it was needed for historical reasons.
