I might make a little sarantel breakout pcb for the active antennas. The $80 that Jim Gray is charging is ridiculous. If I make these I will send a couple in the mail for you. It'll save you $30-$40.

Steven I didn't have any luck with the sarantel passive antenna. Sorry. Best results were with the v-torch antenna with a black plastic housing and magnetic base from SFE. I was consistently able to get 8-11 satellites. The active sarantel got 5-8. Keep me posted if you get that passive antenna runn...

So Steven, I got the sarantel active antenna working. Originally, I thought that it wouldn't work but it was the crummy copernicus gps module that I was using. With the ET-301 it works great! I am going to try out the passive antenna tonight if I get a chance.

Jack, I have been using crystalfontz's 128x64 lcd's and have been wanting to stepup to those same modules that you have purchased but was hoping to avoid writing all the lcd routines myself. Thanks for posting your code and I am very interested to see how things go with the displays you have ordered.

Any chance Jack Smith's SED 1335 Module will make it into an official SF module? I am looking at a project for these lcd's and this good be very handy. I contacted Jack and he seemed open to the idea but wanted to talk with you first.

I need to create a large constant array. In PDS, I would have done this using CDATA. Using a constant array I think I should be able to acheive the same end result. What is the max length of an array? Is it limited by a formal # or purely by code space available?
