Database Module

Post by Steven » Sat Nov 03, 2007 4:52 pm

I have added a simple module to the Wiki that implements a simple database file on a SD/MMC card, along with an example program that includes a sort routine.

Yes, I'm supposed to be designing a golf GPS computer and scorecard for my dad, but it's been a long project that I do a bit on every so often. I seem to spend more time writing the tools to build it, than building the project itself... But I think that I have most of the building blocks there now. As for playing myself, I'm rubbish! Quite embarrasing really...

You and I can play together then. I have not been below 100 to date, but GPS on the cart has proven that I can actually drive 300 yds... on those rare occasions that it goes straight and to the amazement of my fellows on the course. Other than than that I do much better at PIC's... 8)

No. but perhaps I should - did you say that you were setting up a small scale production unit?

That's good to know. Thanks. May be I'll start to think seriously about the idea. Who knows, maybe I'll even escape teaching...

We have ordered a http://www.ntscope.com/m2-2.html with liquid dispenser and vision control, there is a world wide slump in sales at the moment so its a good time to buy, we did look at loads of second hand stuff but these guys made it not worth while, plus we have got a deal that if it does not do what they say we get a full refund.
The feeders(fujii) are available second hand everywhere.
