18F46XX KS0108 Contrast Adjust

I would like to adjust contrast through the touchscreen and a 18F46XX for a 128X64 SK0108.

Are there any suggested operation amplifiers to accomplish this with a PWM output or other methods?

I have ordered the DS1809 digital potentiometer and will try it.
