No Noose is good noose?

Post by Senacharim » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:11 pm

Hello everybody!

So, I visit this site every day, just in case somebody out there needs help with their Swordfish PIC project... lately there seems to be a marked drop-off in the number of posts.

I'm hoping this is because everything is going swimmingly for everybody...

Anyhow, is this the case? Is there another Swordfish forum where everybody is going??

Replies of any sort appreciated, I'd like to know that people are still on this forum.

Well, I still use it ;-) There are quite a few posts on other forums, you are right about that! Plus I have been a little busy with Firewing at the moment, but I do get a lot of emails of happy swordfish users...

It's work in progress, but if you like the look of it then join the forum and start asking questions ;-)

Looks cool, but I've been migrating towards embedded-Linux development... though I'll still be doing PIC stuff for awhile too.

Spent the last year or so turning one of these https://www.friendlyarm.net/products/mini2440 into a consumer-ready product.

I also pop by pretty much every day to keep an eye on things. I also post over at Digital DIY which seems to have collected a few of the SF regulars.

As regards to SF use, I use it every day in a production environment. Swordfish has been going swimmingly for ages for me so no need to ask for help! *touches wood*

If I have a project or snippet I can share, I try to pop something up on the Wiki here or at Digital DIY, but not everything I do can be shared, and my private projects are few and far between at the moment due to my family life.

Same situation, haven't had a coding problem with Swordfish in ages, and the code I produce with it at work my boss considers an "industrial secret" (*snort, tee hee) so I cannot show it off.

The firewing board looks cool. Glad to see the use of usb connectors that make sense.
Thanks Ryan
