Need for Female-Female Cables

Post by octal » Fri Apr 18, 2008 2:01 pm

Hi,
can anyone tell us a reseller for good and well shielded cables to connect dev boards pin-to-pin with the male Jumpers Like connectors? (See Yellow cables on the picture below)

Each time I need them for conencting various dev boards and accessory boards together... they also offer to possibility to connect any device to any pins.

Thanks rmteo,
but the connectors are not shielded (like those on the picture in my post). If I do not find I'll perhaps use a thermo-retractible jacket ... I'll see

I'm not sure what you mean by not shielded. Maybe you mean insulated. Those jumpers have the black plastic housings on the ends.

Thanks to everyone ... I'll buy necessary meterial from links provided by XOR and make my own. Sparkfun is really expensive for what they propose, especially when the connector are not insulated.

The Sparkfun part appears to be identical to WizBang, just a bit shorter and more expensive. They have insulated connectors on both ends of the wire.

I use the same insulated connector on my EZ-FPC adapter:
