Updates... password?

Post by Francis » Wed Oct 13, 2010 2:56 pm

I've just tried to do my Online Update. For the first time in living memory it has asked me for a Password.
I looked in Announcements but nothing there.

Keeping in mind that I registered my SF years ago, do I have to re-register and where does this Password get set?

Francis,

Just drop David a PM with the product key which should be located on the back cover of the CD case (mine was anyway). David will reply with a password.

If there isn't a product key on youre CD case (some people did not have it) you will need to send him an invoice of purcahse.

Hi guys,

today, I have SF installed in two different computers : My desktop and my Notebook. I can use both, since I just have to put the USBKey to activate it.
Will this password allow me to update my two computers ?

Thank you.

If you have a dongle, just register for another password.

You should have received it now - if not, let me know and I will resend.

Thank you David,

now, my both computers are updated.

Just one more doubt :
Before updating, the Swordfish did not initialize without the Dongle. Noe, the compiler starts, but do not generate hex files, unless you have the dongle installed.
is it ok ?

regards,

Sérgio

Thats the purpose of the dongle. :D
Running version 2.2.4.0 ICC 1.2.1.0
