Cursor behaviour

Post by Doj » Sat Sep 15, 2007 2:29 pm

Hello David,
I have noticed an interesting behaviour that occurs maybe 1 in 20 startups(guestimate), that is the cursor starts up in insert mode?, did make it confusing the first couple of times it happened, it does not happen with any other software I use.

XP Pro on HP nx9420 Laptop with dual screen, it has happened on both screens.

Yes, I've noticed this myself, but only very occasionally. I'll try and sort it...

Thanks David,
Some other behaviour just out of interest is when using 2 screens as I do at all times, I have swordfish on the right extended screen, during compilation the Mpasm 5.11 window always appears on the middle of the left screen.
I expect that is Microchips doing.

I have seen another thing that confuses me, on errors, if I click on the result window to go to the error it actually highlights the line above the one that is being mentioned, the one I am looking at at the moment is a hint, but I am sure it does this on others.

Aha!, the errors are fine it was just that hint which highlighted the line above.
