Dear all,
I have been given a budget of USD500, to decide on buying some development boards in 2 days time. I wonder if anyone has any good suggestion of which to buy? I have seen mikroelectronika's EasyPIC5. But not entirely sure of its features or any other models avaiable. I know it boils down to what you need in the end.
I hope to be able to use it on:
1. 18Fs PDIP PIC
2. and also low voltage PIC18Fs such as 18F26K20
Further more:
3. But I am not sure if the criteria (2) is fulfillable by EasyPIC5.
4. Is there any other dev boards offered by any other companies that users of this forum that is familiar with?
5. What other things do you people look for before buying one?
I am currently doing everything without the luxury of these dev boards, so kind of naive on the features and advantages of these tools.
Please offer some help.
Thanks.
Regards,
Liak

Hi liak,
I'm also using the mikroelektronika EasyPIC boards since Version 3.
But I have to admit, that I missed some things and so I searched for another board.
On EBay- Germany (www.ebay.de) you can search for the following number and you'll see a good board.
130223006000
Good luck.
